L’air guitar diventa reale… con Wii

Tamburellare le mani su un tavolo, simulando un piano. O tenere un ritmo con un dito, come se stessimo suonando una fantomatica batteria. O, meglio ancora, fare un po’ di air guitar mimando con frenesia il modo di suonare la chitarra quando si è presi dall’ascolto di una canzone. Gesti a volte anche inconsapevoli, ma ora assumeranno un nuovo significato. Grazie a Wii.
Il 18 settembre 2008, durante la Zeitgeist ‘08 The Google Partner Forum, J.C. Rodrigo, portavoce della Nintendo, ha presentato il nuovo prodotto di casa Wii: Wii Music.
Oltre 60 strumenti musicali, tutti da suonare con solo il Wiimote e il Nunchuk, ma la novità è che questo gioco non è assolutamente competitivo: non è previsto alcun tipo di punteggio, ma l’obiettivo è solo quello di rilassarsi e divertirsi. La sfida sta nell’andare a tempo ed avere orecchio musicale.
Sono previste varie modalità di gioco: in quella principale si possono suonare una cinquantina di canzoni diverse, partendo dai classici come Happy Birthday o il tema di Super Mario Bros e The Legend of Zelda, fino ai grandi successi pop.
Ma il vero divertimento è nella modalità Performance, che consente di improvvisare in sala prove. Questo nuovo gioco è basato anche sulla socializzazione, consentendo di salvare le proprie performance e condividerle con gli altri giocatori tramite WiiConnection 24.
Inoltre Wii Music impartisce anche delle “lezioni di musica” per imparare a prendere confidenza con l’air playing e per allenare l’orecchio.
La Nintendo dunque, dopo aver rivoluzionato l’approccio ai videogames allargando l’utenza, modificato il modo di fare fitness, si applica alla musica rendendola accessibile a tutti, giusto per rilassarsi un po’ ogni tanto.
