I met Gianni in a Jazz Club in Milan, Italy. Until then  Gianni only represented one of the great musicians that my family appreciated in the world of Jazz music. And from their references, I learned to admire him, but never in my wildest dream, would I ever have thought that the day would come for us to play together.

In the few minutes that we chatted before recording, I remember Gianni saying that it would be wonderful if we could with our instruments, communicate with each other. This was the greatest gift of suggestion anyone ever gave me, I can only say thanks Gianni. A special thanks to Michele Bozza, who I as a young man often went to see at the Capolinea in Milano, and here again I must say it’s a great honor for me, to record this record with him.

Thanks to Simone and Alex, the best and unreplaceable stars that shine in the Italian Jazz scene.
Samuel the “real Jazzman” is dedicated to Samuel Agosti, a future in jazz, as well as a very wise man, for his age.
