Franco FinocchiaroJazz musician with a long experience recording and concert, and valuable collaborations with historical artists such as Lee Konitz, Chet Baker, Barney Kessel, Tony Scott, he came to tango in 1995 being among the founders of Tangoseis. With this group has performed and performs all over the world, in the most prestigious concert halls and in major theaters and festivals, among all the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the Orchard Hall Tokyo, Teatro San Martin in Buenos Aires, the International Summer Festival in Ljubljana, the Koncerthus in Vienna, the Megaton Hall of Thessaloniki, Umbria Jazz, the Sala Verdi Conservatory in Milan, the Teatro Sistina in Rome, the Teatro Bellini in Catania, also cooperate with Milva and Argentine artists as Daniel Binelli, Roberto Alvarez, Jose Angel Trelles.

He played in Italy and Japan with the Company TangoXdos directed by dancer Miguel Angel Zotto. With TangoSeis has recorded three CDs, Loco yo spot vos, Hotel Astor and Entre Baires y Harem, HS Pasion, 10 años. From 1997 to 2004 he was part of the group of Italian-Argentine Tango Nuevos Aires, with whom he won a prize among other television network launched by Argentina ATC, playing in various places in Argentina, including the legendary Café Tortoni and the Club Wine, the most famous local today in Buenos Aires. With Nuevo Buenos Aires has recorded the CD Tangos. In 2004 he founded the Orquesta Minimal Flores del Alma by proposing various directories and projects both musical and theatrical has written for several years in the newspaper Il Manifesto and music magazines as Rhythm, shows in Milan, Il Giornale della Musica.
Is also the author of the texts of several performances of musical theater, as Il romanzo di uno sguardo, and related to tango, Milonga Sentimental, Gardel Clips, Tangopoiesis, Borges y Tangos, Tango de polvo y tiempo. He is author of the book Vivir Abrazados, which contains essays by Evangelina Tribolo and Luis Castro; an essay in the book Tangologia 2, of several articles published in journals on tango as World Music and Tango Magazine.
In 2007 he was nominated a member of the Academia Nacional del Tango de Buenos Aires, the only institution recognized by the Government of the Republic of Argentina as an important cultural institution for the diffusion of the tango.
In 2008 he promoted the project in Buenos Aires Hoy aiming at spreading the contemporary tango through an archive of scores filed with the libraries of Italian musical institutions, supported by the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Rome and the Italian Federation of Associations of Tango Argentino FAI Tango.
